Lilly Pulitzer Print nails
Hello!! Spring has sprung everyone, and now the browns and grays of winter MUST be replaced with pastels, neons, and FLOWERS!!! YAY!!!

This design is inspired by Lilly Pulitzer, a fashion designer famous for her bright floral prints... the perfect inspiration for the first floral nails of the spring!

Doesn't this print just SCREAM spring!??

I used one of my favorite blues!! China Glaze "For Audrey."

Hope spring has started off beautifully for everyone!!

10 Easy and Fun Nail Designs for SHORT Nails

It has been far too long since I posted! I've been very busy as so many things have happened in two short months! I got a new job at the hospital in my town. Since I work in the food and nutrition services department, I am not allowed to have my nails painted!! So terrible... But anytime I have a couple days off you BETTER believe that my nails are not naked :) ALSO I got engaged!!! My fiance surprised me one day by showing up to my work (different job) it was so unexpected and I was definitely surprised... which was awesome! Keep scrolling for pics where I show off my ring ;)
So finally to my post... It's long, but hopefully you will enjoy it. I have been keeping my nails short lately, because longer nails have gotten annoying to me. Even though my nails are short I can still create great designs on them. And so can you! :) Enjoy!!

#1 The Herringbone

This was probably one of my favorites! I love nude bases with a design on them! And this was actually very simple to create.

#2 Dot Gradient

This dot gradient was fun, and as my boss told me obnoxious! Haha she said that because she thought I didn't want my nails to be like that when I got engaged (she was in on it) but I liked them... so these were my engagement day nails ;) wouldn't change it either!!!

#3 Triangle Tips

Triangle tips are one of my favorite nails designs because: a) It's really easy to recreate and b) You can use tons of different colors and it looks good
This is an older picture, and my nails are a little longer... but it does look good on short nails

#4 Ombre (Light to Dark)

This summer I've done so many ombre nail designs. It's so easy and always turns out good. I did little flags on these because they were my birthday nails :)

I also tried an orange ombre with glitter :)

#5 Pastel Floral

This was done a long time ago, but I think it belongs on the list because it looks good on short nails!

#6 Half-Moon Mani

#7 Triangle Tops and Cheetah Print

These were gorgeous!!! And inspired by Chelsea Queen, I can't find the link to her original picture... but it's on my Pinterest nail page (Nail-Art) Follow me :)

 #8 Saran Wrap

Saran wrap nails are great for short nails, and they are totally easy!

#9 Pointed Colored Tips

Colored tips over a very subtle light pink base! Very simple, pretty and great for short nails!

#10 Stamped

To wrap up this post I have stamped nails! I have a Konad stamper and it's great for easy and quick nail art!

Hope you enjoyed this post, and have some ideas to recreate for yourself!
